Dear Kilkenny Motor Club,
I am just emailing you regarding the inaugural Cork Car Show that is taking place this coming weekend at the Cork International Hotel in aid of Bumbleance.
As you are aware, the Car Show is taking place on Sunday 2nd April 2017 from 10am to 5pm.
We are delighted to announce that we have in excess of 130 vehicles currently registered so we will be closing out registration – but if you wish to take part, there is still time to register! Registration is important so that we have sufficient space for all participants.
I am just going to give you some vital information regarding the weekend below –
I would ask all exhibitors to arrive between 9am to 9.30am on Sunday morning so that all cars are parked with the engines off before the public enter the car park. I would ask you to please remain on site until 5pm so that the public get an opportunity to see all vehicles.
The car park location for vehicle exhibitors is in the Holiday Blue Car Park of Cork Airport. When you enter the Cork Airport grounds, please follow the directional signs that say “Exhibitor Parking”.
If you wish to arrive on the Saturday evening, you can park in the Holiday Blue car park at that time. We have the special discounted rate of €99 per room with a complimentary breakfast included. If you are booking a room for the Car Show please quote “CARBB” to get the discounted rate. The hotel can be called on (021) 4549800. On the Saturday evening to kick off the car show, we have the fantastic Lewis Boogie who is a rock-a-billy DJ and he will be playing in the bar.
On Sunday at 10am, the show will open to the public – children are free to attend and adults are €5 – with the full €5 being donated to Bumbleance. We have some excellent entertainment lined up for the day including face-painters, balloon modellers, sand art and children’s entertainers. We are also thrilled to announce that the Cut Throat Barbers will be setting up a pop up barber shop and they will be donating monies raised to Bumbleance!
