One of the featured events at this weekend’s Killenaule Festival will be Tug-o-War.
A festival in aid of ‘Tipp to Kenya’ Kitale Charitable Trust will take place next weekend, September 15 and 16, in Killenaule. Events on Sunday, September 16, include: Air Display, Dog Show, Bucking Bronko, Dunking Tank, Archery, Bouncy Castle, Tug O War, Suomo Wrestling, Pony Rides, Spin The Wheel, Art And Craft Stalls, Pets Corner, Penalty Shoot Out, High Throw and Long Jump.

This is the Irish Jaguar Daimler Club here in Dublin and we have a club run to Kilkenny on the 14th /15th September 2013 which at the minute has around 25 members and 14 cars and were wondering if any of your members would like to join the runs or meet us for drinks in the evening in the hotel and talk about the oil bits that we all love some much.

Just to give you the low down, We would hope to arrive at hotel around 11.30am on Saturday and book in it is planned to have a cup of tea in the bar around 12.15am and leave for lunch at 13.00hrs which is in the Presidents Bar in the club house at Mount Juliet , We will travel along Danesford Road to Bennettsbridge and then on to the R700 to Thomastown and turn off for Mount Juliet hoping to arrive around 13.45hrs and then leave for Woodstock house and gardens around 15.00 hrs and arrive at Woodstock some 15 minute later if time allows we will stop a Nicholas Mosse Pottery in Bennettsbridge on the way back to the Springhill hotel On Sunday we are leaving Springhill hotel at 11.00am to drive to Kilkenny castle
