Dear Kilkenny Motor Club,

I am casting for a new TV show for Sky and was hoping you would share this information with your members/teachers?

I am looking for people from all walks of life to pitch their TV shows ideas to a panel of comedians at the Cat Laughs Festival in Kilkenny this June 2nd.

I want people who are passionate about anything from cars to comedy or cats to cooking! Whatever the idea, as long as it’s fun and entertaining, we want to hear it!

Have you got a great idea for a TV show?

Are you passionate about pets, crazy about cooking or mad about motors?

As long as it’s a fun, entertaining, comedy idea, we want to hear it, and now is your chance!

On Monday June 2nd at 3.30pm at Langton’s Set Theatre, Sky Entertainment and Grand Pictures are hosting a fun event open to anyone over the age of 18 to come along and pitch their TV idea to a panel of well-known comedians who know a thing or two about television.

Those chosen in advance by the team will be invited to pitch their idea to the panel and get feedback – warts and all! So only the brave need apply!

At the end of the session, the person whose pitch has impressed the panel the most will win a year’s FREE subscription to Sky!

So if you have a funny TV idea you would like to test out – then now’s your chance.

Deadline for entries is Wednesday 21st May and those selected will be contacted in advance by Cat Laughs/ Grand Pictures

Recording will take place at Langton’s Set Theatre, John Street, Kilkenny from 3.30 to 6pm on Monday June 2nd 2014.

THE ORIGIONAL GARDEN OF IRELAND RUN 2014

Dear Vintage Enthusiast,

You are invited to join us for the 6^th annual Original Garden of Ireland Run taking place on Saturday 13^th and Sunday 14^th of September this year.

Our run begins at the Strand Hotel in the seaside town of Bray traveling through County Wicklow at a leisurely pace stopping en route to soak up the atmosphere and chat to fellow enthusiasts.

Our dinner dance is as per usual in Ireland’s oldest hotel, the Woodenbridge Hotel. This will be at 8.30pm and food will be finished by 10.30pm at the very latest, leaving plenty of time to dance the night away or simply chat with friends.

Sunday’s run leaving the Woodenbridge Hotel will take us to Wicklow’s Historical Gaol for a static display at this famous landmark.

So we would be delighted to welcome you to County Wicklow for our relaxing vintage weekend !
