Yesteryear motor club are holding a classic car run on Saturday April 25th in
which our friends from Wales are bringing 40 cars as well as cars from the Wexford club and of course our own club cars. The run starts at 12noon from The Gold Coast resort near Dungarvan and travels a most scenic route with refreshments at half distance Please contact Noel on 087 9700720

Hi all you classic car fans… just 2 weeks now to our next event which is the run that our friends from Wales are crossing the Irish sea to take part in on Saturday april 25th. Entries from 10.30 a.m. at the Gold Coast resort at Ballinacourty near Dungarvan for 11.30 start. We have music at the welcome inn at cappagh by the fantastic and ever popular Dessie Norris then its on to the world famous Mount Mellary abbey for a short break before getting back in the cars and driving through the Knockmealdown mountains towards the famous vee and arriving in the heritage town of Lismore where tea coffee and light snacks will be served at the hotel. Then its a most beautiful drive through Cappoquin and along Dromana drive on the banks of the blackwater and a short stop in the quaint little village of Villierstown. We then start the last leg of our run which takes us through Keereen and along the old bog road and Through Dungarvan before the finish back at the Gold coast resort. So make sure you are there and enjoy a good days fun with proceeds going to charity

Table Quiz on Tuesday 21st of April in Ryan’s Bar Friary Street Kilkenny at 9pm sharp in aid of Chernobyl Kilkenny Outreach Group The quiz is to help Maura and Declan Cooke and Noreen and Tony Minogue raise funds for The Mary Slattery Memorial Cycle on the June Bank Holiday Weekend where they will cycle from Kilkenny to Dungarvan via Waterford and back..

Fifth Annual Classic & Vintage event in Moone Co. Kildare
Registration at 12noon at Moone Parish Church
Run 1 (Cars) leaves at 1:00pm from Moone to Graiguenamanagh.Co. Kilkenny (Approx 70 miles or 110 km) with complimentary Tea/coffee in Graig.
Run 2 (Trucks & Tractors) leaves at 2:00pm is Approx 16 miles
Run 3 is a short 15 mile trip for cars not suitable for the long run and leaves just before Run 2
All the Runs will finish at the Crookstown Inn for finger food and raffle with live music and a charity auction
Entrance Fee is €20
(which includes Tea/Coffee/Soup and Sandwiches before setting off)

Ballincollig & District Vintage and Classic Car Club ‘s Gougane Barra Run and Memorial Service will take place on Sunday the 12th of April.
Starting at Applegreen Service Station, Classis, Ovens, (beside Ballincollig Rugby Club) @ 12 noon. Travelling to Gougane Barra where club member Fr Paul O’Donoghue will celebrate Mass in St. Finbarr’s Oratory for deceased members of vintage clubs including family members. Mass will take place at 1:30pm
From Gougane Barra the run will return to Macroom via the Top of Coom and to the Riverside Hotel for optional Dinner and presentation of prizes at 3pm.
Entry Fee is €10 per car.
Optional meal €10 per person / €5 per child.
The event is open to all Vintage Enthusiasts and the 20 year rule will apply – Vehicles up to 1995 will be accepted.
Anyone who wishes to have names mentioned during the Mass should send name to the club chairman in advance.
Note: This year’s annual show is on July 24th-26th at the usual venue, Ballincollig Shopping Centre.
