I am looking for help / information to locate my deceased fathers 1949 Olive Green MG YT. If any one can help or be of any assistance I would really like to hear from you. If it is in storage there would obviously be significant storage fees which will be paid in full and a donation or reward will be offered to the local car club or person who can help me locate it.

Rock n Roll – Battle Re-enactment – Foods & Crafts

Enniscorthy Rockin’ Food Fest (31^st of July to 3^rd of August) combine’s three fantastic festivals in one great town to bring you a family fun weekend not to be missed.

The Vinegar Hill Battle Re-enactment has joined forces with Enniscorthy Rock n Roll Town and Enniscorthy Foods Festival to bring you four days of unique experiences and fabulous entertainment catering for you and old.

Building on its phenomenal success last year, Enniscorthy Food Festival, with over 50 exhibitors, will showcase amazing local produce and crafts from Wexford and beyond. Talented chefs from across the South East will cook up a storm combining classic and imaginative cooking with local and seasonal ingredients creating unique dishes with a depth of flavour. Visitors can wash all this delicious food down with tasty, locally producedcraft beer and cider in the beer marquee.

Now in its 6^th year, Enniscorthy Rock ‘n’ Roll Town Festival is based on 1950’s Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Rhythm ‘n’ Blues music and attracts visitors to town from all over Ireland and across Europe. This year’s events will showcase numerous renowned national and international artists preforming in various pubs around the town throughout the weekend. Family concerts will be performed on outdoor stages in Market Square (August 1^st) and Abbey Square (August 2^nd) and members of the public are invited to an outdoor staging of “Grease” in Market Square on August 1^st. This year’s Rock N Roll Festival will also see the return of the vintage car show will be hosted by the “Wexford Sports and Classic Car Club” and will also feature the 2nd annual All Ireland Competition for thebest 1950’s Classic Car in Abbey Square Car Park on Saturday 2^nd August.

MAKE READY, PRESENT, FIRE A blast from the past in Enniscorthy this August Bank holiday weekend with the Vinegar Hill Battle Re-enactment celebrating its fourth year. The highlight of each day will be the staging of two full-scale battle re-enactments, with the Rebels capturing Enniscorthy Town on Saturday 1^st while the Redcoats take Vinegar Hill on Sunday 2^ndAugust. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of battle with pike charges, musket volleys, cavalry assaults and cannon bombardments at the Vinegar Hill Battle re-enactment which promises to be two great days of fun for all the family.

Following on from the Renault Gathering in 2013 & The French Connection in 2014 where we had nearly 100 French cars on display, once again I would like to invite all Classic French Car Owners to attend with their cars to the Kilkenny Motor Club Annual Show at St. James Park Kilkenny on Sunday 30th Aug.

2015 is the 50th Anniversary of the Renault 16 which is truly one of Renaults iconic designs of all time, therefore I would like to try and get as many 16s together on the day , either running or not , mint or not so mint. It makes no difference . Of course all other Renaults are welcome . We have had a fantastic turn out for the last few years and let’s try and keep this going .
