IN GLORIOUS SUNSHINE THE CROWDS THRONGED TO DANESFORT AND A TOTAL OF OVER 215 CARS ,17 BIKES AND 20 TRACTORS WITH BOTH A MODEL AND A REAL THRASHING SET, FIRE ENGINES , LAWNMOWER, LINE AND HIPHOP DANCERS, MODEL AEROPLANES AND HELICOPTERS ,MODEL TRAINS AND A SELECTION OF PHONES AND OUR PIT STOP CHALLENGE NO ONE WAS BORED ,NOT TO MENTION ALL OF THE OTHER FIELD-DAY EVENTS
THANKS TO ALL WHO CAME AND ALL WHO HELPED ON THE DAY ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HELPED IN THE TEA TENT WITH OVER 285 MEALS BEING SERVED AND WHO KNOWS HOW MANY TEAS …….

Over 30 cars from the K.M.C. attended the show and joined the large display of Cars and Tractors on the day to what must be one of the best sites for a Vintage Rally in the country . The highlight of the day was a great Military Re-enactment Display by ” Battle Group South” It was a great hit with the exhibitors and general public alike

A GREAT SELECTION OF WELL OVER 150 CARS ATTENDED THE FIRST RALLY HELD BY “THE CARLOW VINTAGE & CLASSIC MOTOR CLUB” AT THE TULLOW RUGBY CLUB GROUNDS.
THIS WELL RUN AND WELL ORGANISED EVENT HAD ALL THE EXHIBITORS HAPPY WITH GOOD FOOD AND TEA AND A GREAT MEMENTO OF THE DAY . THERE WAS ALSO SOME BEAUTIFUL TROPHY’S FOR BEST CARS ect. WITH THE K.M.C. TAKING HOME THREE OF THEM.

A great weekend was had in Bandon with 45 Morris Minors turning up on the day , 4 of which came from the K.M.C.
Well done to the newly formed Munster Morris Minor Club and The Irish Morris Minors Owners Club for starting this event up again..

Once again we are holding our “Static Display” at Danesfort Field Day on Sunday the 31st of August in Sevenhouses just 5 miles outside Kilkenny City on the Waterford Road (N10). A great day for all the family with all the usual sideshows and if you bring your Car ,Tractor ,Motorbike, or whatever, you will be well looked after by Paul and the lads……..
